Switzerland uses its own plug standard (Type J) and, in places, different regulations for event equipment than Germany — whether an adapter is enough or part of the setup needs to be rented locally is clarified with the venue in advance. The biggest practical difference from the EU countries in this overview: Switzerland sits outside the EU customs union, so equipment travelling across the border is cleared via an ATA Carnet (the international customs document for temporarily exported professional equipment) — a well-established, plannable process, not an obstacle, just an extra preparation step. Noise limits in many Swiss municipalities are stricter than in Baden-Württemberg, especially for outdoor celebrations; that's never assumed, only coordinated directly with the venue.
